BCBA Beekeeping Fall Class 2010

Tuesdays, October 5 - November 30 7:00-9:00 p.m.
8 weeks (no classes Thanksgiving week)

Most participants come to the Beekeeper Class with interests in nature and the environment as their strongest motivation. Some are completely new to the field of hobby beekeeping while others have been or are current beekeepers wishing to refine and update their knowledge. Offered through Colorado State University Extension - Boulder County, the program’s mission is to develop knowledgeable beekeeping ambassadors to help educate and inform the larger community. The welfare of bees and beekeeping is of utmost importance, now more than ever, so the program aims to improve awareness of beekeeping issues in Boulder County, Colorado and beyond.

The Beekeeping Program is offered through Colorado State University Extension - Boulder County Office in partnership with the Boulder County Beekeepers’ Association. Our initial program was offered during the fall of 1998. From comments and experience gained over time, we are continually modifying and developing the program.
