Moving: Free Colonies

Post by Randy Rutherford » Mon Aug 22, 2016 9:45 pm

Hi All - We're moving later this fall, and I'm looking for a good place for my two colonies to land. I started beekeeping last spring with a package and a single langstroth hive. Made it through the winter with a strong colony that swarmed in early spring. We caught the swarm and started a second colony, and the original colony re-queened itself. I'd like to keep all my equipment (except for the frames), but I'm happy to donate the two colonies to a good home. Since I'm relatively new to this, I don't know how these colonies could/should be moved or relocated, so I'd need to have you come pick them up for transport to your location. Hives are located at a residence in old town Louisville. Please reply to post or email if you're interested or can help: [email protected]. Thanks, Randy
