Don Studinski, beekeeper and entrepreneur, will spend two hours getting you introduced to the basics of beekeeping. This is intended to get you started in your first year. We cover some vocabulary which is key to functioning in any trade. We'll discuss the honeybees you will encounter. When, how and where to get honeybees. We'll cover hive types along with pros and cons. Tools you will need and use. How to recognize the various types of comb cells. Pests, like mice. And poisons that are all around you.
Payment is required in advance to reserve a seat. Each class will be limited to 15 or 20 students depending on venue. This provides a small atmosphere where individual questions can be answered. Payment must indicate which class is desired and should be mailed to:
