Earth Day event at Bear Creek Elementary

Howdy Folks,
Earth Day 2014 is on April 22. The Bear Creek Elementary School (near NCAR on Table Mesa in Boulder) folks are organizing a "Bees, Butterflies, and Bikes" after-school event to celebrate. We are looking for a bee expert or two to participate, from 3-5pm. The helmet-mask-suit-smoker equipment would be a big hit with the kids, and the rest should be as easy as falling off a log. Just talk to kids and parents about bees, pesticides, etc. Are any apiculturists interested in public outreach? Contact me at [email protected] or by phone, 303-578-2237.
