Featured Presentation: Honey and propolis are key to a colony’s immune system and helpful to our own! Learn about their medicinal benefits and explore some simple ways you can stock your pantry to boost your health this winter! The BeeChicas will show you how to make elderberry honey syrup, propolis tincture and a medicinal honey ointment for soothing your skin. In person participants will be able to take some samples home with you!

About the BeeChicas: Three of BCBA’s long time members, Cynthia, Deborah, and Theresa, collectively have nearly 50 years of beekeeping experience! They are all Journeyman Master Beekeepers in CSBA’s Master Beekeeping Program. The BeeChicas teach monthly free workshops at the Boulder Public Library. They are passionate about all things pollinators, both honey bees and native bees.
