I've propagated Mason Bees (Blue Orchard Bees) in Boulder County for 25 or 30 years and have built my population to the point where I will have filled straws for sale. These will emerge about the last week of March and should be set out by the middle of March.
I'm not sure yet of the exact number of straws I'll have for sale, or what the interest will be, but will start taking orders now and fill them in the order I got them.
Price is $10/straw, 3 straws for $25. There are 6 to 8 cocoons per straw and 3 straws should give you a good start. If you are successful the first year you probably won't ever have to buy any more.

Re: Mason Bees for sale
Are these still for sale this year Tom? I guess I saw this a bit late but would love to start some mason bees this year.
