From my friend Matt S.:“I hate to do this, but I need to sell my bees. I had a very bad allergic reaction a few weeks ago and common sense and my wife say, “let it go.”
I have 4 healthy hives (from nucs this spring, untreated for disease and mites but recently inspected and clean), each with 2 deeps, each with 1 super (all have wax built, some with honey); bottom boards (screen and solid); medium bee jacket, smoker, hive tools, extra frames, and other accouterments.
One of the hives needs to move as soon as possible (our back yard in Westminster), two are in Louisville and one in rural Erie. Those three do not need to move any time soon.
