One of the few substances known to be poison to mites while not poison to honeybees is oxalic acid. The trick is getting the mixture exactly right and applying the substance at exactly the right rate. Don Studinski, beekeeper and entrepreneur, will discuss mixing and applying oxalic acid in a manner responsible for the beekeeper, the bees and the habitat. This class will include some hands-on demonstration with equipment.
Every class is $40.00 per student. Payment is required in advance to reserve a seat. Each class will be limited to 15 or 20 students depending on venue. This provides a small atmosphere where individual questions can be answered. Payment must indicate which class is desired and should be mailed to:
