What Honeybees Taught Me About Pesticides
by Don Studinski, Beekeeper

Broomfield, CO 80020
When:
Thursday, 12/5/2013 from 7PM to 9PM
Cost:
Suggested donation: $10; All are welcome.
I have been studying about pesticides, following along in Tom Theobald's footsteps since 2009. Winter of 2012, the Colorado State Beekeepers Association elected me their Pesticide Committee Chairman.
It is in the capacity of CSBA Pesticide Committee Chairman that I finally realized my obligation to my community. I must speak out about the important things I've learned with respect to pesticides. Systemic poisons have become so pervasive in our environment they are damaging the nervous and immune systems of all living things.
I have created a slide presentation covering:

Why everything related to pesticides is so hard to understand and how to simplify it.
How we arrived on pesticide treadmill and how to get off.
The domino effect of sub-lethal doses and how everything is getting exposed.

This class runs about 90 minutes. An additional 30 minutes for question and answer is anticipated.
